Explore the House of Waterford

In the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East, House of Waterford offers an unmissable encounter with Irish craftsmanship, where visitors can experience the beauty of Waterford from initial concept to final product

Factory Tour

The factory is the beating heart of Waterford’s crystal manufacture and is where the most intricate, authentic, and masterful crystal pieces come to life. The factory is located in the heart of Waterford City in Ireland, a Viking city built in 914 AD, and is surrounded by a cluster of museums which detail the proud history of this great city. The tour follows each production process, beginning in mould room where visitors can witness the ancient art of mould making; through to the blowing platform, where highly-skilled Master Blowers transform glowing balls of crystal into majestic shapes before placing them through the 1,400-degree furnace.

Retail Experience

With the largest collection of Waterford crystal in the world, our opulent 12,000 square feet Retail Store gives you the opportunity to remember your unforgettable day by choosing a piece of crystal to take home. The retail store represents our entire catalogue of luxury crystal, including an exhibition of world sports trophies.

Located at the front of the retail store, overlooking The Mall and surrounded by sculpted crystal masterpieces, the Waterford Bar is a stylish place to perch before your tour or linger at the end of a leisurely day. The bar offers a selection of champagne, fine wines, spirits and soft drinks all served in Waterford glassware.
