Yeats Building
The Yeats Building is centrally located on Hyde Bridge, in Sligo town centre, was donated to Yeats Society Sligo by the AIB Bank in 1973 as a memorial to the Yeats family.
This impressive building is the headquarters from which the Society keeps in contact with members all over the world, and from where the Yeats International Summer School and Winter School are administered, as well as the day-to-day running of the Society.
After 40 years, the Yeats Building continues to be a hub for literary culture and the arts.

Visit
The building is open daily to the public, Monday to Saturday. Visitors can enjoy our Yeats Exhibition or visit Hyde Bridge Art Gallery. We also have a gift shop and Lily’s & Lolly’s Cafe is situated on the ground floor.

Weddings
The Yeats Building has a wedding licence and the original Edwardian banking hall is a perfect venue for an intimate wedding ceremony.

The Yeats Library
The Yeats Library includes over 3,000 titles and 54 years of audio-visual archive, which is available to scholars for research purposes.
